We open up our gates for
Family Garden Days several Saturdays throughout the year.
These days are for GA Shafter students and their family members to spend time having fun and working together on projects in the garden.
RSVP
Each Family Garden Day requires you to sign up in the school's front office prior to attendance.
Please park in the Grow Academy parking lot and enter through the front gate.

About Family Garden Days

We open up our kitchen for
Family Cooking Classes several evenings throughout the year.
These classes are held for GA Shafter students and their family members to learn new techniques and make recipes together in the kitchen.

About Family Cooking Classes
seasonal market
Twice a year, we set up a market to sell vegetable, fruit, herb and flower seedlings that are ready to plant into the soil.
Each plant has been hand-propagated by the students at Grow Academy Shafter during garden classes.
